Warranties
Most safe manufacturers offer a one-year warranty. Some manufacturers provide lifetime warranties on select models. For all warranty-related concerns, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly. However, if you need assistance with a product purchased through us, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help guide you through the process.
We aim to offer high-quality security products that rarely require warranty service. If you need service outside the warranty period, please contact the manufacture directly. You may also contact us for a referral. SPS maintains a broad network of security dealers across the continental United States and may be able to connect you with a provider in your area.
Please note: SPS is not affiliated with these service providers and does not guarantee their work. Customers are responsible for coordinating directly with them for scheduling and payment.
Limitations
The warranties described above are subject to the following conditions:
- The seller’s (SafesPlusSecurity.com) responsibility—and the buyer’s sole remedy—is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts or products. The seller is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss or damage caused by fire, water, theft, or vandalism affecting persons or property. Some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions, so this limitation may not apply to you.
- Except where prohibited by law, the seller disclaims all other warranties, whether written, oral, express, or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Where applicable, such implied warranties are limited to the duration of the stated warranty period from the date of purchase. Certain jurisdictions may not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
- This warranty is void if repairs are performed without prior authorization from the seller.
- The seller is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Products are packaged in accordance with Interstate Commerce Commission standards and should arrive in good condition with proper handling. Any shipping damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
- This warranty does not cover defects resulting from modification, alteration, unauthorized repair or service, misuse, or physical damage to the product.
- No employee, agent, representative, or dealer of SafesPlusSecurity.com is authorized to alter or extend the terms of this Limited Warranty.
- This Limited Warranty applies only to new products and does not cover previously owned items.
- Waterproof warranties do not apply to products that have been previously damaged by fire.
- Each provision of this Limited Warranty is separate and severable. If any part is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
